Students in the College of Creative Arts can apply for a Student Professional Development Grant and a GPS Award . Students are also eligible to receive financial aid over the summer if they are enrolled in at least 6 credits.

Do I have to be a WVU student to enroll in the workshop?

No. In fact, you do not have to be a student at all. The course is offered through the  Office of Global Affairs at WVU, which enables anyone to register for the course.

Do I need experience in photography to enroll in the workshop?

Not at all. In fact, many of our students are completely new to photography. We start with basic camera control instruction and move quickly from there. We have two full-time instructors and spend a lot of time in the field practicing our skills. The learning curve is tremendous for students of all levels!
