ART 331 Jackson Hole Photography Workshop is a 3 credit upper-level art elective for School of Art and Design majors and is included in the School's new Global Positioning Studies (GPS) initiative . It also fulfills a 3 credit requirement for Photography minors and a Humanities elective for non-majors. The course is offered through the Office of Academic Innovation at WVU and is a popular course for non-traditional students as well.
Students are responsible for the cost of tuition and the additional workshop fee
of $1,700. The fee covers ten nights lodging, van rental and fuel costs, studio
rental, nearly all meals, all of our daily excursions, presentations and demos by
professional artists working in the field, a national park pass, and some photography
supplies. Airfare is not included.
The dates for the 2019 Jackson Hole Photography Workshop are June 20-30, 2019. The registration deadline for the 2019 workshop is April 19, 2019. To be considered for the workshop, an application and $500 deposit is required prior to the registration deadline. Enrollment is strictly limited to 12 students.
